Praise Day 273: Today I praise God for Ms. Ruby Guinn.....who works tirelessly to put together a wonderful Christmas program for the Church!

Ms. Ruby Guinn is such an incredible woman with a passion for Christmas and the Christmas story! She calls herself the General.....hehehe.....but really she is just a love bug who get serious when need be! If it were not for Ruby......we would not have such a wonderful opportunity to share our talents and passions of Christmas, for those who will come and hear the message of the Good News of Christ! I am so proud to call her my friend and I thank God for the day He put Ms. Ruby in my life! I am so excited that one day next year......you all with get the chance to know her through her testimony! She has agreed (I think she did.....oh my....my memory.....if not yet.....she will!!!!! Hehehe) to share her testimoy in my 365 Days of Testimony that God is putting together! She has a beautiful testimony that truly shows Gods protection, grace, and redemption! I love Ms. Ruby so much and I know that God is going to use her in such a special way! I love you Ms. Ruby!!!!!!

Praise Day 272: Today I praise God for God blessing me with such wonderful friends from Loco Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA! (You know who you are!!!!)

Today we had a concert in Lincolnton, GA at their Faith-Full Youth Rally.....and let me tell you.....it was a GIANT blessing!!! God not only showed up.....He showed out! My day started out with us packing our new trailer that God provided for us at an incredible price.....making the trip to Lincolnton to one of the best parks I have seen.....allowed me to do a photo shoot with several wonderful young people.....got to eat some yummy hot dogs (no bun of course!).....had a kickin concert and when I gave the testimony to SHINE, it touched several people and I got to talk to a mom hurting for her daughter who is a cutter.........listened to some other wonderful bands and a great preacher.....watched a group of dancers who danced beautifully in the spirit to some incredible music........made new friends.....got to spend time with old friends from Loco.......had an absolutely hilarious ride home.......went home to two beautiful young women and watched some tv........but most of all.......watched God work in a most incredible way! These are days that keep me going when times get tough and I feel like giving up.......BUT GOD!!!! I am truly blessed beyond measure! Today I praise God for God blessing me with such wonderful friends from Loco Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA!

I am truly a blessed woman! Chelsea and her friend Amber came home this weekend for a girls weekend.....and I am so glad! When they got here, we had a yummy dinner and then mustered up the strength to go and clean the mortgage building that I clean every week. It was such a blessing to have help! With one on trash and vacuuming...one on dusting and glass.....and me cleaning the bathrooms.....we were done toot sweet! Now I like to reward my helpers, so we stopped and picked up some ice cream from Kroger.....gotta love a 3 day sale that includes ice cream! I decided to step out of the Chocolate norm and try and new flavor.....and I sure am glad I did! I got the Kroger Brand Ice Cream.....Sweet and Salty Chocolate Banana flavor......boy howdy, might I say that it was DELICIOUS!!!!! I am so proud of these two beautiful young women.....and I can't wait to see what God is going to do in their lives! God is so gracious and I am so thankful for the friends my daughter has! Now we are watching Tooth Fairy 2 with Larry the Cable Guy.....and I have to say that it is a perfect ending to a wonderfully blessed evening! Today I praise God for two very special visitors that helped me clean the building I clean....and ate yummy Ice cream with me!

Praise Day 270: Today I praise God for an old red trailer on the side of the road!

Today was such a great day! The Band that I manage.....Against the Downpour, has been looking for a trailer to help haul our equipment around for a very long time. Either the trailers cost too much or they were not what we needed.....until today! Yesterday, Chris found this trailer on Craigs list, and low and behold, it was not far from our house! The man wanted 1200.00 for it, but with some work we were going to need to do on it, Chris offered 1000.00 Now the guy came back with a counter of 1050.oo, now that was perfect! Now we can EASILY fit ALL of our equipment and have all of the seats to sit in! God has been so great to us and I know that He has barely scratched the surface! Please pray for the band as we now seek the perfect van for us! God is going to use these fine young men to make a major differences in this world! I am so proud and so blessed to be a part......and you know what.....I LOVE THAT NEW OLD TRAILER!

This picture here was my very first "Professional" type photo shoot that I have ever done with a digital camera. I was a film girl and I was protesting vehemently against going digital! One year after Chelsea graduated from Mercy Ministries on her 15th Birthday, we went to visit Luisa, my sister, in Monterrey, CA for Chelseas 16th Birthday. She had gone one year without slipping back into an eating disorder that had almost taken her life! Luisa let me borrow her Mack Daddy Cannon Rebel for this photo shoot, and it was digital. I was honestly a bit nervous and I could not fathom loving it. . . . but I did! That was almost three years ago, as a matter of fact, Chelseas Birthday in Next Saturday! I have been teaching myself and taking a few classes to learn how to use my WONDERFUL Nikon D5000. If you look at my pics in my albums, I hope you can see that I am learning! Today, my wonderful husband informed me that it was time. . . .time to start what I have been so afraid of. . . . time to start being a bonafide Professional Photographer. . . . . and I am not gonna lie. . . . it scares me, and excites me all at the same time. I have been in love with photography for sooooooooooo many years! Photography for me is looking into the heart and soul of my subject and capturing the very essence of their being! When I look through the eye piece of my camera. . . . a whole new world opens up to me! I see deep inside each person and I find the beauty that lives within. I see the beauty within a wrinkled face. . . .the beauty in a childs silky soft skin. . . . each and every person holds beauty in some shape or fashion because each of us were fearfully and wonderfully made by an incredible creator! Today as I was putting together pictures on this website, I tried to avoid putting pictures of myself. . . . but God! He had me use pictures that at first glance, I did not want to see. All I could see was my size and my imperfections. Then God had me look deeper. As I looked with photography eyes that I look at everyone else with. . . .I saw what God sees! I saw love in my smile and joy in my eyes! I saw someone who cares more about people than she cares about things. . . . .I saw that even though there was not always make up and the clothes were plain and often worn with a hat, there was a woman there who does not have to rely on appearance to have friends, to love others, or to make a good impression! For the first time. . . . ever, I saw in MY pictures, a woman with GREAT value! Not because it was me but because I saw Christ living in and dwelling inside of me! Now I kind of got off track from my original intent, but God was revealing some of these revelations to me as I write! I know that God has given me a talent and an ability. . . . and now it is time for me to do one more thing that He called me to do. . . . and that is to be the Photographer that He called me to be! I am not perfect, but I do my best! Please be watching for me to start my career, and add it to the other things that I do! God is stretching me and He is using me. . . . and for that I am eternally grateful! I am grateful that my God loves me and that He is using me for HIS GLORY! May God bless you, and I pray that He will stretch you beyond your comfort zone and show you just how special you are and what a great plan HE has for YOUR life!

Praise Day 268: Today I praise God for the fun He has given me in reviving my blog and giving me such great joy in the task ahead! As you may have noticed, I am now going to be posting my Day of Praise here on my blog....and then sending the link to both Face Book and Twitter! I have had so much fun working on the new look, and showing off my beautiful family in the process! This is my second try.....I am not sure what went wrong, but it erased everything that I wrote except the excerpt that went on to the other sites. It was funny because I talked about how a friend of mine was impressed with my new use of Social Media in several forms....hehehe.....obviously I am still not a master! I was watching Christian type on the computer the other day and he has this impressive speed with the hunt and peck method on the keyboard so I decided to ask him, "Did you not learn the mother board?". Hmmmmmm.....soooooo, I guess they don't call the keyboard set up a mother board like we did on the typewriter! The first young whippersnapper that asks me what a typewriter is, is gonna get lecture.....so think before you respond....hehehehe!!! God is so great and I know that He is going to use this blog for His Glory! I spoke to a very special young woman tonight who is considering sending me her testimony and she is so excited! The really cool thing about posting it here from the blog....is that I can see how many people have come to visit! Please let your friends know so that they can be encouraged, and maybe hear a testimony that speaks directly to their heart! I am not through with the full set up yet....I still need to finish MY testimony.....goodness gracious......and set a few more things up......but after tonight......she is fully functional! I pray that God will bless you all greatly with His love and His wisdom! I love you and I am so excited about this journey we are going to take together! Today I praise God for the fun He has given me in reviving my blog and giving me such great joy in the task ahead!
