Well, today is the day we headed back home from Colorado. It was an interesting time since the 4 of us got sick and we did not get to do much sight seeing, but God gave us the opportunity to go to the Garden of the gods on the beginning of our trip back home. I praise God for the absolute incredible beauty that He has surrounded us with! The colors that He has brushed here and there......sometimes in the most unique of places.....give inspiration to the artist. The shapes and configurations sometimes leave in in awe! God has created such a beautiful.......and highly unique world that spans from sea to desert, with landscapes that teem with color, texture, and diverse mediums in nature. If someone can see all of this and not see a creator.......then I know that Satan has blinded their eyes and my heart breaks for them. To think all of this beauty just popped out of nowhere........well, my heart just breaks. I know that when I see a pretty painting that speaks deeply to my heart.......there is an artist that created it with the love and attention to detail that pours his/her heart and soul into that creation. Because of this, it gives it even more meaning and beauty! This is how I see God. He poured His heart and His love into this world as He created it.......for His creation......that is us, and how beautiful is that?!!! We are all free to believe what we want because that is how He created us......He is not going to force us to believe.......but as for me.......my heart would be so empty without Him! He is the reason I wake up every morning and He is the one I talk to ALL the time! He hears me when I talk.....even if what I am saying is boring....He listens. He comforts my heart when it is broken and He encourages me when I am downhearted. He lifts me up and carries me when I have no more strength to stand........and he cheers me on when times are good and when times are bad. Sometimes......when I am talking to Him and I can't hear Him.....I am tempted to scream out and ask Him where He is.......but He reminds me in His Word......that He is still there......watching over me with His tender loving care......I am often just so caught up in myself and my pain......that I am just not listening.
Psalms 23 is a psalm of King David that expresses Gods love for us: A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell [fn] in the house of the LORD Forever.
Mat 1:23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," [fn] which is translated, "God with us."
